The Adopted Swale Borough Local Plan document is available for view. It comprises a Written Statement which sets out the Councils planning policies for the Borough, together with a written justification for them.

The Written Statement is accompanied by a series of maps that together form the Proposals Map, which shows the sites allocated for development and where other policies apply. An Index Map of the Borough provides access to a number of Inset Maps.

It is necessary to use both the Written Statement and the Proposals Map to fully understand the Local Plan. Throughout the Written Statement there are links to specific sites on the Proposals Map. Similarly, you can return to the written Statement from the proposals Map.
